The production of Waitress at Shenandoah University was the university and regional premiere of the show. In the role of costume designer, I attended many meetings with the director and design team. I designed and rendered our waitress uniforms, which were built by our costume shop. My assistant and I pulled and shopped all the clothes and fit each actor. Besides the waitress uniforms, one of my favorite pieces was Dawn's wedding dress which was made by combining parts of two dresses that were already in stock.
